Halo: The Chosen. Chapter 5Chapter 5: Killers in the Storm
Location: Aboard The Rust Bucket, in Slip Space
“Let’s go over this one more time.” Jackson said, as Sil threw knives at her practice dummy as a way to pass the time. They had geared up since then and in that time, Jackson had installed the new power generator into his MJOLNIR and it was working relatively well, though he still had to run a diagnostic just to be on the safe side.
“You’ve gone over it at least three times now.” Sil stated as she threw a knife dead centre of the practice dummy’s head. “I get it already.” She retorted. She had geared up as well though her gear wasn’t as high-tech as his.
She wore an old pre-war grey brown UNSC battle vest that had been upgraded with heat resistant plating to protect her vital organs from led and energy based weapons. Then on top of that she had, as she called it her all round harness, which was some old climbi

Nearly every game Sil and Jackson went in they won, they played Hoop Ball, a game that involved tossing a ball in the highest hoop for high scores. Whack a Grunt, a game that involved smacking the heads of toy Unggoy that popped up out of holes in a machine. A game of air Hockey, Sil won that one with cheers and dancing in victory. And now to finish off the day, they were playing a game of Sharpshooter.
The game involved two teams of two, Sil and Jackson made one team and a Kig Yar Dad and their chick made up the other. They were equipped with air rifles and the goal of the game was to hit the most targets in a set amount of time, team with the highest score wins.
Sil and Jackson stood side by side as did their opponents and were getting ready for the sound of the bell. In front of them was a set
